While Cat 6 standard sets the limit at 250MHz, supporting 802.3bz 5GBASE-T for higher data rates on wireless APs pushes the required bandwidth to around 312MHz, well above the 250MHz specified by ANSI/TIA-568.2-E and ISO/IEC 11801 Category 6.
