The "Cat 6 patch cord limit" pass is more challenging for Cat 6 plug assemblies than it is for Cat 5e.

One thing in common is the plugs are all 50u” gold-plated contact blades to ensure conductivity from erosion and durability for up to a thousand mating cycles. The contact blades' “3-prong” construction improves the cable's compatibility to a variety of insulated conductors. And the housing is UL94V-0 rated flame-retardant to meet commercial building safety regulations.

User-friendly design. Optional “loading bar” and “guide” helps to assemble patch cords that would successfully pass the stringent TIA-568.2-D and ISO-11801 Cat 6 Patch Cord Test Limit.
