Driven by the rapid growth of 10G enterprise networks and high-density Wi-Fi 6/6E deployments, Cat 6A horizontal cabling is rapidly outpacing traditional Cat 6 installations. Cat 6A provides the highest transmission grade for horizontal copper cabling - delivering full 10Gbps line speeds up to 100 meters while handling high-wattage 4PPoE thermal buildup far better than legacy cables.

While shielded systems rely on grounding to block external noise, unshielded Cat 6A requires a dual approach: anti-AXT keystone jacks and optimized spatial geometry between ports. Without shielding, external signal emission and immunity must be addressed through smart physical design.

To simplify your selection, HCI divides our Unshielded Blank Panel lineup into two distinct categories:

1. AXT-Mitigated Panels (ETL-Certified for ISO Cat 6a / TIA Cat 6A Keystones)

Engineered specifically for Cat 6A unshielded deployments requiring strict Alien Crosstalk compliance:

  • SP24ZM Series (24-Port 1U Snap-In): Features a patented 3-Dimensional Staggered Port Structure (US Patent 9667004 B1). Neighboring ports are configured 3-dimensionally apart to maximize spatial geometry and minimize power-sum external signal coupling. ETL-certified for AXT compliance when loaded with HCI KHA/KVA Component-Rated keystone jacks.
  • DSP12ZD Series (12-Port Wall-Mount w/ 89D Bracket): Incorporates the same patented 3D-staggered AXT mitigation architecture into a compact 12-port wall-mount footprint. Includes an 89D bracket for flexible Consolidation Points (CP) inside the 90-meter permanent link or as a Transition Point (TP) outside it.

2. Standard Functional Panels (For Cat 6 / Cat 5e Keystones)

Engineered for maximum labor efficiency and wire organization where Alien Crosstalk spacing is not required:

  • SP24FM Series (Front-Access 6-in-1 Bezel Design): Features a hinged ID cover and removable 6-port front bezels (US Patent 7278880 B1). Installers can pull bulk horizontal cable from the rear, snap keystone jacks into the bezels in a brightly lit work area, and click the 4 bezel packs back into the panel face.
  • SP24NQ Series (Integrated Strain Relief Clips): Features rear-mounted, individual cable management clips that hold each horizontal cable securely in place - reducing connector strain and keeping rear cabinet wiring neat and protected.
