AUS/JIS spec.
This section highlights Japanese faceplates (with Taiwan also following the JIS standard) and Australian faceplates. Both use a rectangular shape with a screw spacing of 3.28” (83.34mm), similar to the North American NEMA WD6 standard. Sizes vary slightly, with lengths ranging from 114mm to 120mm and widths from 70mm to 75mm—so they’re usually mid-sized or a bit bigger depending on the series. All faceplates can be mounted on standard gang boxes due to the consistent 83.34mm screw spacing.
Australian Faceplate
We offer faceplates with both Clipsal aperture and universal keystone jack mounting options. The Clipsal-type faceplates are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6-port configurations and are compatible with a full range of Clipsal electrical, data, voice, and video modules. The keystone jack mounting type is designed to accommodate jacks with a latch height between 19.20mm and 19.40mm. Both styles feature a polished surface finish to align with common market preferences.

Japanese Faceplate
To use keystone jacks with a JIS plate, you’ll need a compatible JIS Bezel that acts as an adapter. The JIS Bezel features four locking tabs at the corners and side slots designed specifically for mounting onto the JIS plate.
Just head over to our Keystone Jack page—you’ll find a full range from Cat 5e to Cat 6A, with different features and performance levels to match your setup.
If that sounds like too much hassle, the 625B73N Glimmer Series is a simpler alternative. It supports up to four ports and holds keystone jacks with widths up to 19.40mm, making it compatible with nearly all keystone jacks on the market today.
