The 88TSK02 Field Terminable Plug enables the termination of shielded twisted pair cables right at the installation site. With a U.S. patent for its utility design, this plug enhances intuitive functionality. Its user-friendly design streamlines the wiring and grounding process, allowing for a quick and efficient installation in just two minutes.
This plug supports Modular Plug Terminated Links (MPTL) as short as 0.5 meters, ensuring minimal Near End Crosstalk (NEXT) interference. It also accommodates MPTL connections up to 90 meters, demonstrating its capacity to maintain strong signal strength over longer distances, as evidenced by its attenuation performance. Compatible with various Cat 6A shielded cable types—including F/UTP, S/FTP, U/FTP, and F/FTP—it supports a wide range of cable sizes from 23AWG solid to 26AWG stranded.

The 88TS52G8TK plug is a member of the 88TS52G product family and is specifically designed for use in Cat 8.1 patch cord assemblies.It features a standard body length that offers a generous grounding area of approximately 10mm. With its 360-degree air-tight enclosure, it provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The cable gland is equipped with an elastic gasket, allowing for a secure and adjustable fit to accommodate various cable sizes. This ensures the integrity of shielding and the effectiveness of the screen, providing reliable EMI protection.The 88TS52G8TK plug is designed to meet the Cat 8.1 channel-compliant performance standards. As per TIA-568.2-D, a 2-point permanent link allows for the connection of one patch cord at each end to complete a channel of less than 30 meters. This highlights the increased importance of the patch cord, as the mated area between the jack and plug represents the weakest point, potentially introducing the severest impedance-unbalance in the entire cabling system. By assembling the Cat 8.1 patch cord with 88TS52G8TK plugs at both ends, achieving Cat 8.1 channel compliance within patching lengths ranging from 0.5 meters to 3 meters becomes easier than ever before.The plug is also in complete compliance with the IEEE 802.3bt 4PPoE (Power over Ethernet) requirement, ensuring seamless compatibility. It possesses the ability to effectively deliver 90W of power from the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) to the Powered Device (PD) with received power 71.3W, satisfying the power delivery standards specified for PoE Type 4.

This ensures good strain relief and promotes a reliable connection when connected to PoE built-in equipment. The proper bending radius and strain relief contribute to the overall stability of the connection, enhancing the reliability of the network infrastructure.The 88TS52G6ATKBT plug excels in performance, demonstrating exceptional results in both Cat 6A Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL) and even the more demanding Cat 6A Patch Cord Test Limit, surpassing the required standards with a significant margin.The plug is fully compatible with the IEEE 802.3bt 4PPoE (Power over Ethernet) requirement. It has the capability to efficiently deliver 90W of power from the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) to the Powered Device (PD), meeting the power delivery standards mandated by PoE Type 4. At the PD end, it ensures the reception of 71.3W of power, ensuring reliable and consistent power supply for PoE Type 4 devices.
