The “Small Conductor” Cat 6A unshielded modular plugs accept 26AWG and 28AWG slim cables. 28AWG UTP cable has a 0.69mm insulation diameter with nominal cable O.D. from 3.5mm to 4.8mm only.

The 2-piece design has a “loading-bar” to accept from 0.70 to 0.80mm insulated conductors so all the thin wires can be placed on each slot. And the loading-bar is made in two rows - “6-up/2-down”, moving the green pair away from the other pairs.

3-prong blades further enhance the certainty of piercing the slim cable so excellent conductivity can be assured.
