LC pigtails are the most common choice for modern data centers and enterprise networks, favored for their compact size and high-density capability. Each LC 900 µm pigtail uses a 1.25 mm ceramic ferrule, factory-terminated on one end and prepped for fusion splicing on the other.

For single-mode OS2 G.657.A fiber, using APC polish helps reduce back reflection, maintaining signal integrity and stability in demanding optical networks.
