It is indeed a difficult task to assemble a "TIA-568.2-D/ISO-11801 Cat 6 Patch Cord". This can only be achieved through good workmanship and the right plugs.
Cat 6 shielded cables have larger foamed insulations and require more space to fit into the plug. The 8-position groove is made to accept from 1.05mm to 1.15mm insulated conductors.
Ideally, the two-piece design should be selected. A loading-bar is included which makes your jobs easier.
