    In this section, you’ll find HCI Unshielded Component-Rated Patch Panels. What does Component-Rated mean? Let’s take Augmented Cat 6 for example, Component-Rated means the Patch Panel itself meets ISO/IEC 11801 Ed. 2.2 Cat 6a (the stricter requirements) or ANSI/TIA 568.2-D Cat 6A connecting hardware test limits. Connecting Hardware Limits are the most stringent requirements a patch panel could have. A patch panel meets NEXT, FEXT, Return Loss, Insertion Loss, TCL/TCTL and Alien Crosstalk requirements is entitled to “Component-Rated”. And please do not forget to verify both odd and even ports because sometimes they have different circuitry inside. Component-Rated Patch Panels will benefit you in many ways: 1. Short links – you won’t have to worry the minimum point to point cabling length potentially used in data center. 2. Mixed and Match – you can freely mixed and match other suppliers’ patch cords and cables to link up the cabling. 3. Interconnection on the field – you’ll have fair margins when linking up all kinds of inter or cross connection with the other patch panel in telecomm or equipment rooms regardless of the patch cord length.

A common fact is Feed-Through panels downgrade the transmission performance in the whole cabling.     Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL) means that a jack is terminated at one end, a field terminable plug is terminated at the other end. MPTL is getting more and more common in some cutting-edge site projects. Conventionally you need to pull both data and power cable if you want to install a WiFi AP or surveillance camera in remote space. Now thanks to PoE technology, we only need to have one data cable to carry both data and power. In a way, PoE further push the needs of MPTL in buildings. Because now we can directly plug-in a WiFi AP or surveillance camera without the needs to install a keystone jack + faceplate + patch cord COMBO. Unshielded Field Termination Plug features intuitive termination process. It supports 4PPoE Class 8 power level that carries 90W PSE to 71.3W PD over four twisted pairs.
